How can you target advertising in mobile?
The two biggest factors in answering this question are the ad platform being used and the mobile channel that carries the advertising. Today we announced our new enhanced targeting capabilites. These go beyond the usual, contextual and demographic elements, to enable targeting by more niche behaviors, such as shopping behavior and brand preferences. In order to accomplish this, we are establishing deep partnerships with several data providers. We have developed unique technology to maximize the targeting and optimization of ad campaigns across mobile channels. This not only benefits the advertiser – the consumer benefits as well, from more relevant advertising, and it also benefits mobile publishers, by providing the highest value ad for their site or app.
